Galactooligosaccharides (GOS)
Galactooligosaccharides (GOS) are pre-biotic ingredients that support the growth of the beneficial bacteria such as Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus. GOS are not digestible by human gastric juice or pancreatic enzymes and pass unabsorbed to the colon where they are fermented by beneficial microflora.
Properties
Cup Oligo®P is powder type and contains min 70% of GOS (on dry basis).
Suggested use level is 0.3 grams to 9.5 grams per serving. Can easily replace 10-20% of sugars in your formulations.
