Viscoat PC01 (Photo initiator acrylate)

Viscoat PC01 is a photo-initiator acrylate which has Norrish II type photo-initiator and H donor that avoids the use of a separate Photoinitiator in UV Cure formulations. As the PC01 fully polymerizes into the Acrylate polymer backbone there are no photoinitiator migration issues. Used In combination with other Acrylates &Oligomers, it is possible to achieve curing efficiency levels similar to existing formulations with acrylates, oligomers and photoinitiators. Viscosity is very low (around 17 cps), so it is easy to formulate into existing or new formulations to remove the Photointiator. This monomer has special advantages when used in UV cured inkjet inks, coatings, and adhesives.
